what is eureka 7 ao series is it like the next few years after the original like naruto then naruto shippuden?

Its a little different . Eureka 7 AO its the continuation of Eureka 7, but with different protagonists and a different time and space. We also don't see many characters from Eureka 7 (such as roland and moondogie) i think the only ones that appears is Eureka and Renton.
But even so....as a Eureka 7 fan, i loved Eureka 7 AO. If you finish eureka 7 i recommend watching E7 AO.
I hope there is another season soon ^^
